LacrosseReference: Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Agreement
By accessing and using this service, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. In addition, when using these particular services, you shall be subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to such services. Any participation in this service will constitute acceptance of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
In Other Words:
I'm not going to be a jerk. I hope you won't either. If you were planning to be a jerk, please do it somewhere else.
2. Privacy Practices
Certain registration information and other information about you may be collected by LacrosseReference through your use of this website. Our Privacy Policy details what we capture and how we use it.
In Other Words:
I will never sell or share any user information with anyone else for any reason. I only collect information needed to make the site work smoothly and to facilitate payment.
3. Limitation of Liability or Disclaimers
This site and its components are offered for informational purposes only; this site shall not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, usefulness or availability of any information transmitted or made available via the site, and shall not be responsible or liable for any error or omissions in that information.
In Other Words:
I have always done my best to make sure that the information and calculations I publish are correct. But I'm not perfect. If I notice an error or if someone points it out to me, I'll do my best to fix it ASAP.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
The Site and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by LacrosseReference and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
In Other Words:
I'm happy to have you share the information and insights presented on the site, but do not copy and republish my work without attribution.
5. Advertising and Endorsements
I am not accepting any advertisers nor am I soliciting any endorsements of the LacrosseReference PRO service. This entire project is about creating a product that is valuable to the users, so the only monetary inducements should be from the users themselves.
In Other Words:
I actually wrote this one, so nothing to add here.
6. Payment Terms
Billing

You may purchase a Paid Subscription by paying a subscription fee in advance on an annual basis or some other recurring interval disclosed to you prior to your purchase

I may change the price for the Paid Subscriptions, including recurring subscription fees, from time to time and will communicate any price changes to you in advance and, if applicable, how to accept those changes. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Subject to applicable law, you accept the new price by continuing to use the LacrosseReference PRO Service after the price change takes effect. If you do not agree with a price change, you have the right to reject the change by unsubscribing from the Paid Subscription prior to the price change going into effect.

Renewal / Cancellation

Your payment to LacrosseReference will automatically renew at the end of the applicable subscription period, unless you cancel your Paid Subscription before the end of the then-current subscription period by clicking here (logged-in users only). The cancellation will take effect the day after the last day of the current subscription period, and your account will be limited to non-paid features. A full refund will be granted, no questions asked, at any time.

If you have purchased a reduced-price Paid Subscription using a discount code, your renewal price will be automatically raised to the prevailing price when your subscription period ends.
In Other Words:
To make things easier on both of us, your account will auto-renew each year, which means we will automatically charge your credit card or payment account when the time comes.

But if you would like a refund for a subscription prior to the end of the subscription period, just ask. Refunds for current subscriptions (as opposed to prior years) will be granted no questions asked.
7. Termination
We may terminate your access to the Site, without cause or notice, which may result in the forfeiture and destruction of all information associated with your account. All provisions of this Agreement that, by their nature, should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
In Other Words:
Again, don't be a jerk. If you are a jerk, I'll refund your money and deactivate your account. Life's too short to deal with jerks.
8. Notification of Changes
I reserve the right to change these conditions from time to time if needed and your continued use of the site will signify your acceptance of any adjustment to these terms. If there are any changes to the privacy policy, I will announce that these changes have been made on the home page and on other key pages on the site. If there are any changes in how I use my customers' information, notification by email will be made to those affected by the change. Any changes to the privacy policy will be posted on the site 30 days prior to these changes taking place.
In Other Words:
I'm not sure what would change, but if anything important does, I'll let you know. But I'm not going to start selling/sharing user data or anything, so if there are changes, they'll be minor.
9. Contact Information
To contact me with any questions, suggestions, recommendations, complaints, etc, use this contact form.
